Is owen going to leave?

hello ? well on the internet ,this story has been repeatedtly surfacing that owen has refused to extend his contract,and that he is set to leave liverpool for inter milan or madrid,
i believe this is really bad news ,but will it really happen.
we lost robbie fowler and now another world class liverpool boy is going.

owen should go. he actually supported everton as a boy.
Cisse will be joining LFC from france soon, and with the 2 french youngsters houllier bought, and milan baros, we will have a great strike force. whilst on the subject of departures, emile should leave asap!

Sorry but I have to disagree.
Sinama-Pongolle, Baros and Cisse would be a poor substitute for Michael Owen.

Owen is one of are best players, and has never had a season where he has failed to score a substantial amount of goals.
Saying that i think he will leave in another 3 or 4 seasons, he has stated his ambition to play abroad from the start.
At least the main man Steven Gerrard should be here for life.

It would be a crime if Michael Owen is allowed to leave LFC but it may be out of the clubs hands, if the current inconsistent form continues and we fail to finish in the top 4 for the second year running nobody can blame him for wanting to leave to play for a side who is in with a chance of winning the champions league. After all his strike record for club and country is second to none and he must be up there with the worlds most feared strikers.
As a club we must strive to be successful this season, we've had a bad start but we have the ability to bounce back and every supporter knows we can beat any team on our day, at the moment we seem to be lacking confidence on the field - thats something that can be put right only by putting a winning sequence together and the supporters getting behind the TEAM and the MANAGER. Surely its only a matter of time before we're back up at the top where we rightly belong and then it will become unquestionable for world-class players like Michael to even contemplate playing their football elsewhere!

The day Beckham left Utd was the day Owen decided he too would try his luck elsewhere.There is no way he will sign another contract,even if we qualify for the champions league.Owen wants away and he will use Liverpool's poor record as an excuse to ply his trade on foreign soil.If we can get £30 million then we have to snap off the hand that offers it.
