It might be a bit too early for this but what the hell. We played superbly today and we deserved the three points. Now when the Mancs beat Arsenal the following week they lost to Portsmouth.

We face Aston Villa so I can only hope that we build more victories on the one today. We have some tough fixtures comming up but if we play anything like we did today we could get the results we need.

More worried against playing against Villa, cus while Everton wins on effort, we should have no rpoblem with them if we played like we did today

To come 4th or better, we'll need to take every premiership fixture as an arsenal otherwise we'll play sloppy. The game against arsenal we knew we couldnt to play ****** football against a worldclass side.

Im not saying we do play ****** football. just an e.g.

I hope we can capitalize on the victory over Arsenal. Villa have kept 5 clean sheets at home while we haven't kept a clean sheet away at all this season. Certainly the victory over Arsenal has boosted the confidence of the team so we should be able to pick up the three points against Villa if we play anything like we did against the Gooners.

I'm unfortunately going to predict our run of conceeding away to continue and the score will be 1-1.

Mellor will score an equalizer for Liverpool.

I am going to disagree and say we win 1-0.

Aston Villa can score from various areas of the pitch which gives them an "edge" in a way however the victory over Arsenal has surely given the Reds the confidence needed and we've proved that even with multiple injuries we can get the job done.

It is vital that we beat Villa as we seriously need to collect more points not just away but period. We've won one, drawed twice and lost four games on the road and that has to change.

With a win over Villa we will have even more confidence as a week after we face the bluenose pr!cks.

OK, just wondered, as here in Liverpool we have them in our families, workplace, school, teams and local boozer. I have never refered to them in such derogatory terms, yes I do call them bluenose b@stards, but more in a friendly affectionate way.

I wasn't talking about the fans, I was talking about the players.

Unfortunately I think it might be a draw. Not the worst result in the world, but a win would be nice.

I don't see us losing though, as Villa don't have a lot of quality in the middle of the park.

I think the moral of the players will be changed after the performance on Sunday. They will be up for it like they were against Arsenal. It's not an easy fixture but we need to collect the points if we plan on getting near the top 4.
