Contracts and greed within football

Over the years players in my opinion have been robbing the clubs they play 4.
When a player has about a year left on their contract. They should be sold of immediate effect if no new contract is signed.(who ever they are) This stalling tactic costs clubs millions.
OWEN- Yes he is great, and was 1 of our best players.
However- if we had sold him when the signs were their, that no new contract would be signed. We could of cashed in and been ready 4 this season. (8million was a joke)
All these players clame they luv the clubs they play 4 and r sad to move.
Seems to me they r selfish
Probabley not a popular post.

I can't argue...It's us poor saps who end paying for these over-paid,swell-heads.I've kept a lot of ticket stubs over the past 30 years or so and it's incredible how they compare to todays prices. The cost seemed to stay in line with inflation but as soon as sky got the grubby little hands on the game, the clubs and players got greedy and the tickets increased more than a 1000% in the last 12 years.Who pays ?....we do.

The season before the Kop went all-seater I think I used to pay £9 on the turnstiles
