Ive been telling people for ages about riise and his alehouse ****** football but everyone kept telling me what a good player he is, the fact of the matter is he is average at best.Iim suprised we get results in any games the amount of times him and josemi give the ball away with that long ball ****** (and when hyypia and gerrard are at it thats when we are in trouble- just like last night)

This is the legacy Michael Owen left the LFC with. This is all Michael Owen's fault. In his mad and last minute rush to dump the club that made him, and jump to a team that would put him on the bench, we were left with no time to find a striker.

Cisse injured, Baros injured and the poor kid Mellor having to front the lines in such a pressure game.

You can go to hell Michael!!!

Have we made any progress this season ?  Benitez inherited an average squad and has had rotten luck with injuries but apart from some flashes of attacking football at anfield and a great result against Deportivo in Spain, i'm unimpressed with the style of football we are playing and the attitude of alot of the players.

I thought our players would be giving their all to impress a new boss this season but the lack of drive and passion evident during Houlliers regime is still there.  They lack inspiration.

Deep down i'm beginning to feel that even though Benitez was successful in Spain perhaps hes not the man equipped to lead a team to the premiership title.

are we really now saying that we want houllier back and owen as well?
Am i reading it right, saying that benitez should stay in spain?
are you people being serious?
have i suddenly gone onto a different forum?
people, sort it out, we have 6 1st team players out injured (4 of which are attacking players)
We are having bad luck, and we are still playing better football than we were under the last 2 years of houllier.
seriously, some of you people need to get a life, geta  grip, or get a clue

Because if he'd said he wanted to go to RM at the end of the previous season, rather than on the transfer deadline of the new season, we'd have enough time to buy a replacement striker.

Instead he made out he wanted a new deal, left it right up until the transfer deadline before revealing that he wanted to go to RM, and we didnt have time to look for back up strikers to Baros and Cisse.

Now we've got to wait until January, and hope Baros stays fit!

Michael Owen leaving is no execuse why we get outplayed by the likes of Boro.
