I'm dont know if its a good or bad idea, fair enough if our stadium was sponsored we would have to call it by the sponsors name (Walkers Stadium for example) but then we would be able to spend money in the trasfer market investing in what liverpool is mainly about a football team, I also think by doing this it shows a lack of integrity on the boards behalf, showing they show no itrest for the ideals of the club.

In my opinion having a sponsored stadiumlowers the club down to the status that they cant support themselves fiancially, but having some outside funding could help the team. A big benifit to everyone is a company contributes to the stadium and liverpool offer them first choice on advertising hordings or the oportiunity to print there names on the seats in the stadium or something along those lines. This would allow the club to name the stadium themselves

I think it all boils down to how much a potential sponsor was willing to cough up for having their name splashed all over the new Anfield

Everyone and everything has it's price, as they say
