Monaco have bought well in the transfer market Deschamps is a shrewd manager so why dont you give credit to Liverpools tactics which were to stifle their most influential players .
I was at Anfield last night and every player performed admirably and we played a great pressing game ,quite simply Monaco were not allowed to play . ???

All the possible credits absolutely go to Liverpool. we well-deserve the three points. However, anything can happen in such event like CL, you have to be constantly aware and always learn from mistakes such as shown against GAK.

Anfieldadorer I agree our Qualifier at Anfield was not in keeping with our swift progress this season but it was just a blemish an enigma we might never perform that badly again in European football so forget it .
Liverpool are currently undergoing a transformation and if we keep working as Diligently  as last night then performances like the one against G.A.K will be firmly resigned to the past :D :D

When is the return game at Monaco? If it is near our last group game, i hope we have qualified by that time so we don't need to worry about the outcome. I think Monaco will be a better side with the likes of Saviola and a few others who were not available last night.

I also hope that by that time, our game will have been on track with slick passing, movement and possession and with our strikers and midfielders bang on from.

good point LFC#1, only to illustrate the different between the old and new Monaco. I would like you guys to assess their current strength without him.

any draw from oppositions' match will be good to me, laza. Since i assume all teams are big threats.

I think if you think of the game last night in the context of that we still have some way to go then it was impressive. Raf had said before the game that the team seemed to be jelling and I thought what a load of ol tosh but following last night I see what he's getting at.

Of course they're not jelling, how can you expect anyone to jel?

I hadn't heard Rafa say that but if he did he's obviously incredibly stupid.

I did read him saying that the team was gelling  :D

I thoughted they gelled very well last night  :;):
