Hyypia - Ever present
Posted: Thu May 13, 2004 1:17 pmTo keep on avoiding the usual topics - takeover, GH in-out, team next season, Champs league etc..., I thought i'd point out that Hyypia has played every minute of every game in the premiership this season. For a guy that's getting on a bit, that's pretty good by anyone's standards.
I think the guy has been quite consistent this season, when you consider that last season he was stripped of the captaincy and dropped due to his poor performances. he's also been playing with different partners every week- biscan, henchoz, carragher. He may not have the pace, but his reading of the game and his presence is still top notch.
By the way, as a pointless trivia question, does anyone know of any other player that's played every minute of every premiership game this season?
