Settled in beautifully. Because he sees things so quickly and can play passes that others can't some of our players have been caught a little off guard but they'll soon adjust.

Agreed, he's really showed his quality thus far. Just hope he can be more consistent with his fitness. However, there's good news that he'll likely only miss the Ajax game and be fit for the weekend.

Lucky his leg wasn't broken. But his quality is clear. He's world class and lifts our midfield to the next level.

How good is this guy? He's like Alonso, but with pace and a huge chip on his shoulder.  Great player.

I actually see him getting better, as good as he is. I have seen a few moments where he could have taken a player on and had a shot but he chose to pass instead, also I think our players still don’t fully understand his quick thinking but are starting too. We haven’t really seen his dribbling skills but I think as he settles in the team he will start leading more, taking people on and shooting. What a buy he is!

I thought he had his best performance in a Liverpool shirt today. He was everywhere and his lay off for Mane's goal was world class.

I think he is a fantastic midfielder, my only issue with him is under pressure he tends to lung and gives silly fouls away, sometimes in dangerous areas. While pressured he also sometime makes passes he shouldn’t, exposing other players. Technically though, he is absolute quality. I’d like to see him shoot more from outside the box.

He's obviously full of quality but makes too many mistakes for my liking. Even yesterday, he had an amazing game but still made a few mistakes that left us very exposed.

A truly wonderful footballer. That performance alone was worth the admission price.

He's been so much better this season. Looks leaner and fitter, too. Very much the Thiago we saw at Bayern.

Definitely deserved the ovation he got last night, not just for that game but for his performances this season overall. We're a far better team when he's playing but his fitness is still an issue unfortunately.

This season is make or break for Thiago, if he can't play 30+ games he must go. We need reliable quality, not just quality. Ox has to go for the same reason, simply too brittle.

And Ox is not world class

Thiago played in 39 games for us last year (25 in the PL, 10 in CL, 4 in the FA CUP). 30 the season before (24 in the PL, 4 in the CL, 2 in the FA CUP).

Ox's current injury is his first since he returned to fitness in November 2020. He'll leave when his contract expires simply because the team has evolved past him.
