Before it's over. Happy St. Paddy's Day. Be grand to have him back right now, he'd banish this virus I'm sure!
Read somewhere today, it could be rubbish, but allegedly the Mancs could be the ones with the final veto on awarding the league to LFC this season. Only one way that would go, the bitter phucks.
Stay safe all.

I'm not sure, the virus is expected to peak in May/June, you think they'll open the stadiums straight away and risk restarting the problem? No way.

Isn't it more logical to finish this season which is almost through and sacrifice the next one which hasn't started yet?

Exactly, you cannot sacrifice an almost complete season, all clubs signed up for 38 games. Next year is a whole new deal that all teams will know about and can negotiate terms, I think you finish this season and then worry about next season. I do agree with Reg that starting the season again could see a spike in virus cases so they probably play behind closed doors, which is not ideal but a much more likely scenario than cancelling the season. Cancelling the season with 28 matches played goes against all things “fair competition” and sport.

Not in terms of for the virus it isn't. Best thing is to declare this season finished then start the new season in OCTOBER. Anything else is reckless.

Why not play the games behind closed doors/ empty stadia? Then we will win it outright with no question marks and all promotions / relegations will have been earned/ deserved.
Not ideal but what is? Yes, match day revenue will be lost but the majority of the money comes from TV/ Sponsors? Subscriptions will probably increase as people are gagging to watch sport right now.
Starting in October might not even be possible at the rate things are going. why not cut your losses this season and then start the next one when we have the all clear?

Rising everyday, feel for the elderly. I don't think this will end yet, could be prolonged for a while.
Semi curfew has been set up so let's see how it is contained.
I wonder how China have contained it,few daily cases and 4k active 73 k recovered.
