Im sure bungle is messing about there.

He's unbelievable!! His reactions from point blank range are incredible. He makes De Gea look like David James. I think he's the best keeper in the league.

At the moment Oblak and DDG are the top of the tree when it comes to GK but Alisson is right up behind them and if he continues his form for the season will be alongside them , just needs to do it at a high level consistently over a whole season and then more

Right now on track to be one of our best GK

I am a big Reina fan mate, thought he was a great keeper but think Becker is just as good. If Reina was 10 years younger he would be costing a similar fee I reckon. There was 2 choices for us in the top goalkeeper stakes and it was Alisson or Oblak with the latter probably costing more. Personally I couldn't give a hoop about how much these players cost as its relative to the game. I am just happy we are signing top players and willing to pay to get them. By the same token we could sell in a few years for an even sillier fee.

Anyway I wouldn't say he's really any better than Reina but definitely worth 7.5 times more than the spud in reserve..

What a player he is turning out to be! Makes one mistake earlier this season and we haven’t seen any more fancy footwork theatrics from him.

A lot of you simply don’t understand how many points Alison has already saved us from dropping.

Hopefully he may go down as one of our best ever goal keepers if he continues to improve beyond what he is already showing week in week out.

When I said that he'll be the best fit for us before we signed him, someone said that "he'll need to be the Diego Maradona of goalkeepers to justify such a price". Well, that's the best part about Alisson, he doesn't do hollywood supersaves (although he is not alien to them, as shown last night), but in the most important moments, he is there, every single time. Best signing of the season for me, by far.

I agree goes to show how crucial it is having a top class goal keeper.

I think his impact is amplified due to the fact we have not seen a proper keeper for years

top class GK. He and VVD are the reason why we have such a strong defense. Kudos to Robertson too

He is incredible rs, his positioning, his commanding presence, quick off his line and his distribution are phenomenal.

Bungle if you think he was expensive then just how much do you think Real Madrid would be prepared to pay for De Gea. I’m beginning to think that we actually got Alison on the cheap !! Selling Coutinho for £142m and buying Virgil and Alison for about £135m was excellent business given that Philippe was determined to leave.

What a fantastic goal keeper/footballer , after years of having mediocrity this is truly a blessing . Intially was shocked by the price paid but seems like its worth every penny and only 26.
