Two stops yesterday to thwart both Willian and Hazard ,his importance to this team and where this season takes us is becoming clearer by the minute.

Agreed

Was more than annoyed with his some of his earlier  "Fancy Dan" footwork, an accident waiting to happen imo , and it did happen.

BUT !

He's been a quick learner, Klopp obviously had a word, he's not f*cking about any more and deffo looked the real deal yesterday, his stops against Willian and Hazard kept us in the game.

How strange is it to say our keeper won us 2 points

Made two very good stops either half rushing off his line, so yes the keeper earned us that point also. I thought Hazard was going to Bury that second half chance, so good stuff from our keeper.

Best save success rate in the Premier League this season (3+ apps):

Alisson -- Liverpool (85.7%)
R. Patricio -- Wolves (85.3%)
Ederson -- Manchester City (81.3%)

That is what happens when you have a quality keeper.

Becker and Van Dijk have transformed us at the back.

The one big positive from yesterday. Makes it all look so easy. Looks every bit the world class keeper we've been craving since Reina left.

No wonder Klopp ran on the pitch to hug him (while the game was still going on!)

Think Jurgen just needed to hug somebody and Alisson was the one nearest to him :D . Not saying that Alisson himself didn't deserve that hug though, fantastic performance and a superb season so far.

Bet Mourinho will break the bank and sign Pickford for a world record fee after seeing an assist like tonight  :wwww

Another clean sheet and now conceded fewer than City!! For the record, played 14, 5 goals conceded. (City 6).

We haven't looked so complete at the back for 20 years+.

The way he legged it up the field when Arnold was waiting to take that free kick and gave him an extra few yards so he could get a better position for the cross was brilliant. You can't be taught that kind of stuff  :no  He is a top top keeper and well worth every penny we paid  :buttrock

Player of the season already  :nod

Honestly, I'm not convinced he's worth what we paid for him. It's market forces, of course, that drove the price up but I can't see he's X times better than Reina, for example. Just my opinion...
