Hope this isn't true.  :(

Rafa was never the same when Pako left.

Behind every good manager...

From the Telegraph:

Zeljko Buvac, Jurgen Klopp's trusted assistant, on verge of leaving Liverpool in huge blow ahead of Champions League tie.

Clearly on the eve of the big game the whole things been handled very badly.....  :kungfu:  :kungfu:

Well if true I hope Klopp has an eye for a good coach as he does an eye for a good player. All parties should have swallowed their pride for the sake of the team in this very important time. They all get paid but we supporters do not and we will feel it much harder if we do not go on and win silverware, especially when we are so close.

Who knows the real reasons why but it seems pretty fkin daft to walk away a few days before a CL semi-final. Bury your differences until the campaign is over. Hell, the league is over in a couple of weeks. If we end up with silverware and in the CL next season, then Buvac's stock is high. Surely a mature adult can see that....
More of our dirty linen being washed in public....
Assuming it's true of course  :Oo:

There's nothing on our clubs Official website about this!? Never mind the tabloids, nothing has been announced by our own club yet.

If it does happen to be true, then why not get Stevie G in as assistant manager hereafter. That would be a very good move.

Stevie G...? WTF does he know about anything... you want to replace a 17 year coach with an old player?  "Blimey".

So if a heart surgeon walks out the day before a transplant you'd be happy for a medical student to do it?

Very very odd. Liverpool say he's still employed. Was he not offered a managers job a while back? I'm sure I recall something.

I hope it's not a Rafa Paco situation again

So why are Rangers so interested in Stevie G? Are you saying Rangers know fook all about football!?

WTF does he know about anything

!??? That was the most idiotic comment I have ever heard. Have you even been watching Liverpool for the last 20 years, or have you been asleep!??

I'd give him the job for the same reason Rangers wanted him... He knows the game inside out, a top player, and assistant manager to Jurgen would be a good stepping stone, plus he has some coaching experience now.

To be fair at least Gerrard has worked with the U18's which is more managerial experience than Kenny had when he took over in the wake of Heysel.
If Krawietz gets promoted to Jurgen's number 2 then I think Gerrard would be a decent shout to inherit Krawietz's current role, I think everyone has got their fingers crossed that Zeljko comes back though, as someone has already mentioned Rafa was never quite the same after Pako left.
Typical LFC this though, I thought everything was going too well.

GOS....just because SG was a talented player doesn't mean he's management potential. Basis your logic Rushie would've managed Real Madrid for the last 30 years wouldn't he? Dildo.

He's been offered the Rangers job principally because they're desperate.

What else do you want to know?

GOS, regardless of who replaces him the worry is a potential breakdown between Klopp and his long standing relationship with his backroom staff. This guy is called 'the brain' for a reason.

For all we know his role has been minimal for a while, the only tabloid running with it is the daily record which has indicated the relationship has been sour for a while so we may not notice a difference. It'll be a huge worry if Klopps other right hand men decide to follow tho.

Who the Fck is talking about Rushie!? Not all Ex-players become managers. We all know Stevie G is going to become a manager of a decent team in the not so distant future.

Assistant manager would be a good move for him.

Unless you are dumb.

They even gave Ryan Giggs the Man Utd managers job on an interim basis, and he had fck all experience.

Ps. For your information, medical students in the UK do take part in operations in theatres, at University Hospitals. It's part of their training!

Numpty.
