He'll be due a big pay rise soon I'd imagine. We have the best CB and the best GK in the world and we'll need to pay them accordingly to hang onto them.

Think he's actually justifying why he's among the top 3 nominees at all this year, he's had a pretty average season. For me the third nominee should have been Alisson, but it could have easily been Mane or maybe a City player. Ronaldo is only there because of his past glories.

Looks like VVD has just signed a 6 year deal.. That's big news for the club, wonder how much he's on a month.
