Disappointed for the guy. The message he wrote showed a very humble man.

Yeah terrible news. You could tell he was done when it happened.

A potential CL final and then the W.C is a lot to miss. Gutted for the lad.

We can't afford any more injuries to that 11 from here on in.

Only Henderson, Milner and Wjnaldum left fit in Midfield, with Can, Lallana and OX now out.

Can't afford any more injuries especially in midfield.

Terrible, terrible news. Gutted for the lad. We will surely miss him.

A lot of players haven't been the same after returning from such injuries as well. Terrible news indeed.

Huge blow

Jesus that's awful, he was playing the best football of his career as well.

"The ECHO understands that he damaged his posterior cruciate ligament and his anterior cruciate ligament, as well as medial ligaments when he slid in to dispossess Roma's Aleksandar Kolarov. As a result he now faces a gruelling rehabilitation programme."

Damn that is some rotten luck to damage all 3 ligaments in one go. Shame really as he had been fit all season for us. No chance of us selling a CM now.

What a blow. He was in great form before the injury. Awful news for both him and us.

Gutted.... what a super lad he is.  He should take the chance to take his training badges.

Gutted for him as he freshened things up when we needed it. Warnings were made however about him being an injury risk and this injury is an example of that. Maybe that is why we got cold feet about Fikr as the warnings were similar.

His high-tempo playing days have gone which is very unfortunate.
Ligament damage is arguably the worst type of injury in football -
broken legs down carry as much a threat to ending football careers.
That said, I'm sure LFC will get him back upright in order to maintain some kind of market value to him.

Getting his badges while his young would be the best thing to do...

I hope he recovers quick feel sorry for the lad.

We will need a Att Mid even more now. With Ox out and Lallana also injury prone we could end up being quite thin for quality cover.

It's quite unusual to damage all 3 knee ligaments in one go. In fact I would go as far as to say it's a freak situation. I can't recall any other player doing it. I'm no knee surgeon but I'd be concerned whether he will physically be the same. I guess we'll just have to wait a year or so to see.

Now I understand why all those new faces have appeared in the midfield.

Very disappointed as he was making great strides to become a starter, lets hope he comes back stronger.
