I watched his team lose 4-1 but this is going to be a great signing. Every time I have watched him he looks a very good player and will give us the bite we need in midfield. He will score, assist and put in a tough tackle, something we have missed for a while. Cannot wait to see him in a red shirt.

Liverpool could save on Naby Keita fee from RB Leipzig

Naby Keita's transfer fee is yet to be decided

Liverpool could make a saving on Naby Keita's transfer fee this summer as current club RB Leipzig continue to drop down the Bundesliga table.

Keita has already been signed by Liverpool and will move to Anfield at the end of the current campaign.
His transfer fee remains undecided, however, with his final value dependant on where Leipzig finish in the German to flight.
If they finish in the Champions League places, the price is £59m, but that drops down to £52.75m if they only manage a Europa League finish.
The fee payable is then reduced further to £48m if they finish 7th or below in the final league standings.
RB Leipzig dropped to sixth place over the weekend after a 5-2 defeat at home to Hoffenheim - a game in which Keita scored.

Looks like we could land Keita for a snip around 50m at this rate.

Sent off for the fourth time this season. We're getting a headcase by the looks of it

I've noticed that with Keita his disciplinary record isn't good. The Epl is more tougher than the Bundesliga so I'm hoping he does calm down.

Maybe his ***** off they didn't let him come to us so he doesn't really give a shyte anymore.

Hmmmm his disciplinary record is a worry, Just hope he irons it out once he is here because he is going to have many more highly charged games with us than with Leipzig. Can have all the talent in the world but no good if getting sent off couple of times in a season and it ends up costing us points

As long as he doesn't bite anyone or use racial slurs he will still play more then Suarez  :grinning:

Has picked up 2 red cards in the league, one in the German cup, and one on international duty. But prior to this season he hadn't had a red card since 03/04 season. He has the sort of competitiveness and bite our side is missing. Like a young Gerrard had.

On the plus side we have got plenty of experience in that area after Suarez and Mario

Least he's not afraid to get in amongst it. There's been games out entire midfield didn't make a single tackle. Hopefully some of our current midfielders follow his example.

Perhaps he just simply wants out now and is prepared to just sit it out until end of season.

I don't understand this kind of comments. I wouldn't want such a player anywhere near our club, very unprofessional.

Don't think that not giving a Sh*t is the case with Keita though. I think he's a bit of a hot head and makes rush challenges, something he'll definitely have to work on.

Maybe he is self destructing deliberately as if Leipzigs league position of below 6th means we get him for as little as 48m depending on where they finish, so nice one Naby :buttrock

If he is deliberately getting himself sent off because he is chucking a strop or trying to lower the price for his next club then he's exactly the type of bloke we need  :;):

Damjan is talking through his ar$e  :D

With those number of red cards my concern wouldn't be about his "mentality" it would be more about his ability to tackle properly !
