Good news, his injury isn't serious. Just a bruised shin, according to the club.

He is playing really well at present so very glad its not serious but do you really need to be stretchered off with a bruised shin. I hope that was down to the medical team and not Naby.

Total appearances

18/19-33-3
19/20-27-4
20/21-16-0
21/22-40-4

Last season was his best as far as appearances are considered however, his spent more time in rehab than on the pitch. His a decent player but not reliable. We wasted our time with him. We really need to move on from the older lot and the crocks like Ox and Keita.

Milner 140, Ox 120, keita 120 = 380k off the wage bill.

We can get at least 2 high quality players with that.

I remember watching alot of Naby in the Bundesliga and was probably the most excited I'd been over a signing for years when we were linked with him.

I remember one manager saying it was like playing against 12 men because Keita was doing the work of 2 men and was everywhere.

It was like we were signing Kante V2 but who could also dribble and create chances.

But what we ended up with was a bottle job. People call us the Mentality monsters, but Naby is a Mentality Kitty Cat. I'll never get over that UCL match, I can't remember who we was playing.. but Naby was completely out of his depth and doing everything wrong.. suddenly he pulls up injured on the floor and has to come off. We should have known from that point on that he's not gonna live up to the reputation he came with.

Right WTF is wrong with this ***** ? Did we hold him here  against his will or something and he's refusing to play ? It's an absolute joke that he is still here tbh.

The above is right when saying he is a bottle job. Another who should of having his bags packed 2 years ago.

Well, it is Klopp biggest weakness and has always been. He just CAN NOT tell a player he's not good enough/injured all the time and needs to move on.
He's EXTREMELY loyal and that can be great but it can also be extremely bad...

Reports have come out today that Naby has got a serious hamstring injury. I don't believe it for one second..

Last time they rushed him back from injury they derailed his entire career so they can f*ck right off!

Guinea boss Kaba Diawara, though, believes Keita could be back in a fortnight.

“His situation is improving and he is even ahead of schedule,” he said. “We took a group of 24 players precisely to give him a chance to be able to count on him because he is a very important player for us, on and off the pitch, he is our captain.

“We are monitoring his situation very closely. We still have a little over two weeks before our first game. Chances are we could get him back by then.”

Worst signing in Liverpool history. 52 MILLION and he was absolutely as useless as he was clueless...

Don't know about being the worst but definitely a poor one. He never even looked like trying imo and couldn't hack the intensity either.

You have to question WTF the logic was behind offering him a new deal anyway.

Cause as soon as he leaves for free it will be a horrible loss on the books.
Awful player that couldn't stay healthy to save his life and was very mediocre when he did played. At that price tag it was a horrible horrible signing.

Nah :-)
Just such massive dissapointment. He wasn't that well known but was hand pick by Klopp for an outrageous sum
and has just flopped completely. Never managed to stay healthy and was poor when he came back. Only Aquilani comes close but I never expected him to replace Alonso as we didn't have the money. But Keita was going to be a stud with the biggest fee we'd ever signed a cm. And then years of garbage only for him to leave for nothing.
