Apparently Trent had a good performance yesterday and also notched a goal.

Looks like Trent has been ruled out for 4-6 games with a foot injury. Looks like Clyne is gonna have to step up on sunday as Milner is a injury doubt aswell.

So he will miss palace, Leicester and potentially Westham.

Clyne loan is baffling to say the least.

Clyne asked to leave because Klopp wasn't willing to give him a chance...

Most reports I read say he'll be out up to a month. So that's possibly up to 6 games.

Also, Gini doubtful for the Palace game. At least we have cover in his position.

Interesting, thought there must be more to it than we heard. Important times and luck, injuries will play their part, we're a bit stretched at the minute, there must be a temptation to bring in someone who can play CB or RB, you could get a very good 30 year old for reasonable money.

Fixed it for you  :D

WIth Gomez and Matip back, I think we'll be fine.  Gomez, Fab and Milner can play right back and it'll be for a couple games at most.

Klopp chose to play Trent, Gomez and Milner ahead of Clyne. He started one game across the PL and CL and that was when all 3 players were out injured.

Klopp is clearly happy with the 3 RB options he has, even if some members of this forum aren't.

Matip is back. Lovren is due back in training this week. Gomez is due back in training in the next week or two. And Trent will be available in 4 weeks.

I guess one thing we can agree on is getting out of the League/FA cup has been ideal for us.

Genuinely dont see why people are getting bent out of shape over Clyne. We coped for 18 months without him and all of a sudden he's vital?

We have options at right back without him, once Gomez is back (and Matip) Clyne would never have stood a chance of getting in the side.

Clyne was decent defensively but poor in an attacking sense. He slowed down play so much and we cannot truly counter attack with him in the team and that was when he was at his best, when he played this year he seemed even slower. I have no problem with him being on loan to look for a permanent club.
