Let's at least wait until the window closes before everyone starts giving the owners stick, they did a great job not caving into Barca, surely they deserve a bit of praise for that.

A bit like a child saying "It's MY ball..." And not letting anyone play with it...

Coutinho.

Sick and tired of those feckin names.

***** NOT A JOKE! *******

Looks like we will have to wait for this deal until 2018

"Liverpool have agreed a club-record deal to sign Naby Keita from RB Leipzig on July 1, 2018, sources have confirmed to ESPN FC.

Liverpool had been tracking the Guinea midfielder all summer and had two bids rejected by the Bundesliga runners-up -- the second of which was worth €75 million, according to owner Dietrich Mateschitz.

Leipzig's stance -- both publicly and privately -- has been that Keita is not for sale at any price this summer as the club embark on the Champions League for the first time in their history.

However with Keita's contract including an exit clause of £48m, which comes into activation at the end of the season, the club have sanctioned the move and he will undergo a medical in England on Monday before joining next summer."

Nice news Keita is tied up but its next season and we still need urgent reinforcements this.

Sakho rumoured to be close to Palace £25m.

What did we pay for Sakho? I thought it was around the 18 million mark. If this is the case why are we bulking at 25?

What do you guys think of the Chamberlain signing?

I think we've overpaid but that's more indicative of the market these days...

I like the fact he turned down the flag wavers for us. Like Llalana I think he will improve drastically under kloppo, but for now he provides very handy backup for what we've got. The pace we have in the squad is frightening...I think this season will hammer home the meaning of 'Death by football'.

Having Ox helps with our fixture congestion. We need players like him to keep us fluent upfront. Just really need Van dijk badly.
