Patience obviously isn't your strong point. It's still January. Calm down

We're signing 1.5 players tops with the Coutinho money at best.

We could do with some new blood, on top of what we have.

I'm just wondering if we have enough resources, especially in Midfield, to cope with the Champions league knockout phase.

Seeing Coutinho unveiled at Barcelona does upset you. Another one of our stars gone, what a shame.

I hope we get a positive result on Sunday so the mood changes a little.

Think it will be VVD and Keita coming in this month and that will be it. Club are probably thinking that will take the sting out of the Coutinho sale while it also balances the books somewhat.
Think we will look for a Coutinho replacement using the summer budget when we are more likely to be able to get our primary targets. I may be wrong but not convinced Klopp see's players like Mahrez etc as long term options and think he would rather bide his time than just buy any player just for the sake of replacing Coutinho. Unless one of his primary targets becomes available this month, think it will be VVD and Keita

Really hope you are right mate because as it stands i don't think we've got enough to finish in the top 4.

Keita would help us push for top 4 finish and have a go at the cups. We still would need an attacking players however i feel that would be for the summer. I agree with whoever mentioned that it does seem like with these owners it's all about balancing the books.

Hmmm...
I think, we still need, to build for next season...

1. A decent goalkeeper 40-60m
2. Thomas Lemar 100m
3. A 20+ a season top striker(no names mentioned specifically..
Maybe Kane!? ) 40-150m.

Out next summer should be..
Henderson (20m), Can (30m),Moreno( 20p),Lovren (15m),Mignolet (15m),Karius (10m)..
Thats it for now folks!

Above figures are estimated, depending on the market etc..

That lot, plus Keita next season, and we are almost title challengers

Dig deep in your pockets FSG and make us dream...
:p

Feel we are easy a top 4 team even soaking up the loss of Couthino.

If we could get a big deal over the line now its pretty much guaranteed but its always another day for us, never react immediately.

Maybe they are willing to chance it with what we have and rebuild in the summer market when we reset the clock, have a tilt at it with a fresh start.

I just wish we werent so calculated with our business and willing to roll the dice occasionally.

We are best spending that Coutinho money now really, as summer transfers will be tricky with it being a world cup year.

Sorry, I'll rephrase my post.... The above signings are what we NEED to win the league title.

Anything less will not be enough, with moneybags Man city around. Dreaming or not, those are the calibre we will need to challenge for a title.

It looks like January transfers are done and dusted. No early arrival of Naby Keita! Boo hooo

Yep, next Thursday is the first of February, unless something happens pretty quick it looks like we are going to go with what we've got.
