Well after City, Mancs and Arsenal all dropped points this weekend, it will need a serious f*ck up from us to somehow miss out on CL from here. 3rd is very much ours now if we want it. Personally, win tomorrow and really think CL is pretty much done and dusted for us

If we miss out now... Likely most of the players Klopp is courting will go elsewhere. And likely Coutinho will leave. Maybe others. The price of failure is amplified. But the problem is, it has to be that the players want it more than the manager. And I'm not convinced they do.

I'd be totally and uterly disappointed with this team and Klopp if we somehow didnt finish top 4 now. It's about time the team shows some mettle. You wouldnt get this kinda opportunity again this season. The two Manchester clubs dropping points against relegation battlers. And we have very winnable games. If we didnt qualify for CL, Klopp should seriously replace 80% of the team...

We always seem to f**k up against the saints. Nervous about that one more than Watford.

Yeah they are one team who always seems to give us trouble, we have played them 3 times already this season (2 x League Cup, 1 x Prem) and havent scored a single goal against them yet.

Yep, 2 more wins should secure it. 3  give us 3rd and a bye through the qualifying round

Mathematically, we still need to win all our games...

All done now imo. Question of race for 3rd between us and city and who avoids the qualifiers.

It would be great to get third. A huge shot in the arm for Klopp's summer transfer plans to go in from day one being able to offer targets Champions League football. No players waiting until the end of August to see if we qualify.

I just dont understand why some are saying we have qualified either. Out if Man City, Man U and Arsenal, Man City's fixutres are mutually exclusive. That means that Both the manchester team can still obtain 12 points. We are 0 point and 1 point and 3 points difference from City, Man U and Arsenal respectively and 9 points to play for. So technically we are not out of the woods yet.

I just don't see the mancs  or arsenal doing enough to claw us back. I mean the mancs are ravaged by injuries, fixture pile up. Games are running out for them, it's only 4 now and 2 of those are away at spurs and arsenal. Europa is priority for them.

Arsenal are just poor. They scraped wins against Boro and Leicester and were comfortably put away by spurs on the weekend. In the form they are in, their trips to Southampton and Stoke look very dodgy.

For us to somehow failt qualify form here would require some monumental ***** up on our part/or one of utd arsenal going on some kind of amazing run of 4-5 wins when neither of them is going into the run with any kind of real form. Just very, very unlikely to happen now after this weekends results

But how does ManU winning (IF) the Europa League affect us? If they win and get CL qualification, does this mean the 4th team doesn't qualify for the CL? If so, then it would be devastating if we made top 4 but still failed to qualify for CL (and because of ManU also!)
