A few heads went down when we conceeded yesterday which tells me some players are not mentally ready to fight for where we need to be. Lallana, Milner and Clyne looked drained after we went behind and had no fight left in them to help us get back in the game.. I feel these are the 3 that gave so much on the pressing game at the beginning of the season and now all 3 are mentally and physically drained! I would seriously think about resting a few of his workhorses before they get completely burnt out.

Not so much dominating possession but rather given possession and being asked to do something with it, which we do not have sufficient quality to make count.

We are not playing that badly when you consider general play. We are not finishing the two or three really good chances we are getting every game. Firm is not a natural finisher despite his many talents and origi although hardworking is not there either.

The only natural finisher we have is Sturridge. Klopp needs to play him up front, give him a run of games and accept that his job is to score goals, period. If he does this when given the chance Klopp needs to accept that he won't track back and press as hard as he wants him to.

We are also missing Studges link up play as well which is normally very good.

It seems to be accepted on RAWK and This is Anfield that Sturridge pace and skill sets have been declining over the past 3 seasons and even Carra's saying that when they played together he was so sharp but now he's lost it after his injury sagas etc.. Folks saying his wages are too high to be in this position so he'll have to go this summer. Don't think this will be a surprise to anyone.

2nd to 6th is very tight. Fight for champs league spots will be interesting ths season.
Any one of those teams can finish 6th or 2nd.

If we are relying on that, then Klopp's tactics are seriously wrong...

Of the top six teams we have the best run in. We have to go to City, and have to play the gooners at home.

Apart from that we have a real chance to pick up points between now and the end of the season. We have games against weaker teams and we have to learn to win ugly.

Second should be our goal, hoping Chelsea have a slump similar to ours. If any side can get to within five points of Chelsea they are bound to feel the pressure.

The title race is not all over yet. If we do not get to the CL with this run in we need shooting.

To me personally, after the nightmarish run we had in chistmas and January, the relatively easy run in doesnt matter anymore. We just have to win games, that's it! Against the top 6 sides or mid table sides or relagation battle sides.

Yup we just need to wins games. It would be typical of us if we were to lose against Burnley next and then beat City and Arsenal.
We just nedd to keep on stacking the points.

so after all the hoo-ha about Man City not doing well, they are back to 2nd. And normalcy is restored, the 2 big money clubs are 1 and 2 respectively.

Teams don't play until week of 25 Feb except ManUre who play EFL final so obviously them and City's fixture postponed along with Arsenal who are supposed to play Saints. Spurs play European football before their fixture so potential for a hangover.

Race for 2-4 will be tight. Apart from Chelsea the rest are inconsistent. Even mancs who have been many points adrift could finish 2nd.

Will be interesting to see who finishes in the top4 this year. I think Utd played themselves into the mix and now look the most likely to make the top4 from everyone 2nd-6th. City are 2nd without playing at their best. I think that last CL spot is between the 3 other sides. Arsenal have the best balance and players, Tottenham are solid defensively and well organized, we're unpredictable and have this amazing record against the sides around us.
