Can't say I'm happy with this lad, he seems to be made of glass and the amount of injuries he has had so far is really starting to add up.

The last thing we need is a Sturridge MKII in defence, and for one we should not be so reliant on him next season.

It's obvious we need another 2 center backs (who aren't injury prone) to partner up with big Virgil at the back.

Looks like we need a wholesale change as both Klavan and Lovren are both rubbish as well.

Klopp needs to buy another CB. A CB should have been listed in the trolly anyway.

Almost forgot how good this guy can be. Looked rusty in the first half against Burnley but has been superb since. Can't be many better 4th choice CBs around. Shame he keeps getting injured.

Yup, he's been very good in Gomez's absence. Lovren looked very rusty yesterday when he came on, almost even cost us the game with just the few minutes he was on. Matip at the moment is the better option and we should stick with him until Gomez comes back.

We need to sell him and get another quality CB.

He has only been here for 2.5 seasons but already missed a whooping 39 games!

Enough is enough, he is simply incapable of spending longer than a month without picking up yet another ridiculous injury.

That's unfortunate and agree it doesn't signify he's injury prone.

I'm dreading getting paired up against a good team in the UCL and with VVD suspended and now both Gomez and Matip currently injured .. we have only Lovren!!

Yup begs the question who will play alongside Lovren?? It is a messed up situation we are in.
In desperate times Can used to be our last hope for CB. I would crack up if Klopp plays Milner there.

If Gomez and Matip are out for 6 weeks then they both should be back in time for the CL game
