Benteke has the ability to score some cracking goals and is beast in the air. Technically, he is not too bad on the floor either. However I don't think he is sharp enough when things get very intricate. When the likes of Coutinho, Lallana are playing this quick once touch stuff, he seems to be a second or two behind

Exactly what ive been saying. He slows the pace down and that free flowing attacking rhythm gets interupted once a pass is made to Benteke.
Benteke is a good player but does not suit JK style. He suits a team like Villa or even west brom. Who defend there a.r.s off and win via set pieces.

At £32m Christian is currently looking like a slight upgrade on Andy Carroll. He does have lean spells though and I hope this is just that because at the moment £61m for Benteke and Firmino is looking like a crazy amount of money !! Just how much did Stoke pay for Shaqiri? £12m and he looks five times the player that both Lallana and Firmino are.........We simply cannot continue with these expensive transfer mistakes. Our history is littered with them !!!

Rumours are Chelsea looking to sign Benteke in Jan. For the right price i'd accept.

Drogba Mk11.

I'd see who we could take in exchange. Maybe Costa.....

Don't want Costa anywhere near Anfield. He's a t@at. Get our money back and let Klopp bring in his own superstar for £35m.

We need more agression in the team and Costa certainly fits into that category.

I think Suarez agression was a vital component for us and whilst hes a just a great player that side of him vastly undervalued in terms of its influence on the team.

We are too soft now, good technicians but nobody with a fierce drive to win games.

Benteke turns it on when he wants and isnt lively enough for us or a Klopp side.

You guys can't be serious about Costa  . Can't stand that guy and neither can our players I believe. Chelsea fans getting tired of him as well. Don't want him anywhere near us.

Although I'm a fan of Benteke and I really want him to make it here, it looks very unlikely because he just doesn't fit our style of play and obviously not even near on the same wavelength as the likes of Coutinho and Firmino. If we can get 25 million plus Remy off Chelsea, I'd be really tempted.

Heard from a decent source that we have been touting Benteke to other clubs. I'm not sure he is a Klopp kind of striker even though he supposedly wanted him at Dortmund.

He might have wanted him at Dortmund but he's seen first hand that he's simply not good enough... move him on why he's still valued quite high.

Grey area.

When he lost Lewa he scouted every forward in red hot form. He cooled his interest in Benteke very quickly.

Klopp likes high tempo, high energy forwards.

We need to sign a like for like Aubameyang player. Or sign Aubameyang.

Would love Aubameyang but think he is being looked at the moneybag teams now. Also sure i read that he and Klopp didn't always see eye to eye so bit doubtful either party would want a move
