So random/faceless Twitter account. OK thanks for letting us know.
It was all over Twitter last night.

Well if it's "all over Twitter" posted by random/faceless accounts then it must be worth taking seriously.

At least give a source for the "rumours". Did the fella down the chippy mention it to you?

There has been nothing from anyone connected to the club that I've seen. Paul Joyce is a reputable journalist who reports on the club and this is what he said this morning.

Roberto Firmino to have further assessment on hamstring injury but initial diagnosis is that it is not serious.

I don't know what you mean by random/faceless? Some of accounts have over 100k followers. It was everywhere last night.. have a look before jumping to conclusions. It was a "rumour" it circled around.. that's how rumours work. Then eventually we get the story from someone from the club and that rumour gets put to bed.

I never said Bobby has a hamstring injury and is out for 3 months confirmed. That's the difference.

We still don't know the real story as of now.. we've just got to wait and see.

That's not the point. You should provide the source of any rumour you're going to repost on here so people can make their own mind up about the reliability of it.

Because on the edited version of your post you took out the personal attack on me. Now it looks like my unedited response looks like I'm just attacking you. Which wasn't the case.

What personal attack? What are you talking about? Your source being the fella down the chippy?

Yea sure if that's the game you want to play.

I have no idea what you're talking about. I didn't make a personal  attack on you and I didn't  see any personal  attack by you either.

Anyway back to Bobby. Didn't look too serious the way he was walking  off. Hopefully a pull or a slight tear and he'll only miss a couple of weeks. 2 of those will be the international break anyway.

Well let's hope it isn't serious because up front is one area where we are a bit light.

Juventus have had a bid rejected by us for Firmino, around £20m. Appatently they're going to send an increased bid. Are we looking to sell him though? I know he isn't what he used to be, he's almost 31 and has just an year left on his contract I think, but we'll be pretty thin in our forward line if we sell him without replacing him.

Sounds like paper talk. Doubt Juventus have made an offer. And no chance of Klopp letting him go anyway.

I’d be surprised if we didn’t accept £20m for a 31 year old (32 in October) squad player who only has 12 months left on his contract. Juventus mustn’t have made a firm offer, probably just paper talk.

Mighty relieved to see Bobby stepping up to the plate these last few games. Should be up for our next game at Everton as well to provide leadership and experience.

Bobby was more than good last night, looks like he's reminding us, and others ? , of what he can do.

I’m ok with Bobby running down his contract. There is no direct replacement for him as he really is unique  and he has been a real servant to the club with his unselfish play. He was the glue that got Mane and Salah to click. He deserves a payday in my opinion. And frankly his song unites and gets the crowd going.
