Kenny was facing Firmino and Lallana was right next to him trying to drag him away. Yet neither of them, nor the referee nor anyone else in the vicinity heard the word "ni**er"? Its a very precise and identifiable word, mostly because of its shock value, and most if not all people would react immediately, but only holgate heard it?
Very, very unlikely and highly suspicious...

Nothing will happen over this  :no
Holgate shoved Firmino over the hoarding and Firmino reacted by calling the lad a crazy biatch and that's it. Holgate hasn't a clue what he said and neither does the referee so that is why he spoke to the 4th official and has to mention it in his match report. The F.A will have to investigate and Bobby will have to go through the process but he hasn't got anything to answer for. The language experts will surely back him up as everything can be clearly lip read.
Holgate should have at least been carded for it but given the nature of the complaint to the referee he bottled it.

Firmino usually played really well with Coutinho and usually we got the best out of them when both played together. As well as losing a friend just wondering if Firmino performances will get affected.

As friends I suspect Bobby knew months ago he was ready to have it away on his duplicitous little toes,I think Firmino and Lallana have a similar kind of freakish understanding to Bobby and his former Brazilian partner and that will come to fruition now that he finally vacates the position Lallana was made for, time for Adam to step up and snatch the wand.

The whole teams peformance will be affected by Couthino leaving, he was the player maker and best player and the only player we had who could thread a through ball, Lallana and Oxlaide are not in his class so do not expect them to replace what Couthino brings.

***** !!! Ive seen Lallana thread more than enough through balls ,the lads only problem is he doesn't realize how good he can become in a red shirt. Other than that, Firmino is the  most intelligent footballer we have in the team even when the ***** whose just walked was here.

If the manager can't motivate the team to show we're not a one trick pony (with Coutinho) then shame on him. And the players.

It’s not about motivation it’s about quality, we don’t have anyone in the squad who can provide what Couthino did it’s as simple as that really, I wish I could share others optimism but this decision could have serious ramifications on our season, it’s an absolute scandal to sell your best player mid season like we’re some relegation scrapper club, it’s an embarrassment, the worst thing is we won’t even get a replacement for another 6 months!

Maybe their performances will change for the better? The miserable b@stard is gone now, maybe they'll band together and play for each other.

So what would be acceptable to hear... is a full apology from Holgate for an unjust accusation of racism .... Holgate to receive a 3 match ban for what should have been a sending off offence, a further 2 match ban for a false accusation of racist slur and a "trevor Sinclair law" brought in which treats false accusations of racism with the same vigour as an actual incident of racism  ....

I'm not sure if some of the lads need to be put on suicide watch after Coutinho left us?

Why should Holdgate be banned for reporting it? Liverpool fans were all praising Rian Brewster a couple weeks ago for being brave enough to report racist abuse now it’s against one of our own we don’t agree? That’s ridiculous, if Holdgate thought he heard abuse he’s entitled to report it to the ref, it looks like it was a misunderstanding and if it was we can all move on.

While we dont want people to be afraid of reporting racism, there has to be some sort of method by which those who play the race card are punished if found guilty. Holgate doesnt understand Portugese so how the fu'ck did he come to the conclusion that Firmino called him a ni**er? As has been said, the ref clearly states he did not, so are we to draw the conclusion that Holgate made the accusation to save his own miserable, petulant ar'se? If he gets away with pushing Firmino into the crowd then it sets a precedent to all non - white players that they only have to say there was a racist comment to avoid punishment?
