Fairplay, but I think Salah is THE most important and influential  player in the squad currently. And few would dispute that. :p
Salah,Firmino, Coutinho, llalana, Mane etc they all have that ingenuity about them. We are not a million miles away from being title contenders. The squad needs tweaking here and there, but who can say that the above named attackers are not one of the best line ups in Europe!?? Next summer, bring in keita, VVD and maybe one other decent defender, and also someone like Lemar, and we will have the strength and depth to compete for the big prize.

Talking about Van Dijk seems like City are trying to sniff his ar$ and snap him in January.

That's why I call him the brazilian Dirk Kuyt!
A more skillful version of Dirky.

Shout out to his asist for Coutinho's 2nd goal last night! At speed, it takes skill and version to spot that opening for Couts and couts was slightly behind at Firmino's blind spot.

Touting him as the best player in the league by a country mile is abit too mucb though. I dont think he is even the best player in the team. Coutinho, Salah and Mane are ahead of him IMHO.

When he's good, he's very good. He just needs to sort his consistency out, by that I mean when he goes on a spell of "dissapearing"  for a few matches at a time. Shame he doesn't do it in every match. :(

In real top form right now and both he and the team are a real pleasure to watch when he's on top of his game. The number of balls he wins in the opponents half and the number of times he drags defenders away from the goal must be a dream for Mane and Salah.

If you care to watch and analyse the game it will be obvious to you that Salah and Mane would not have the kind of space available to them had it not be for Firmino pulling defenders out of position all the time. It goes without saying why Salah have florished since joining us, mostly down to the system as well as having guys like Firmino making space available for him. Bobby does much of the dirty work by putting pressure on opposition before they launch a counter attack and he ran deep to win balls and start many of our counter attacks. He is the vital cog that make Jurgen's game plan worked and that's why Jurgen appreciate him so much. Now if Mane could rediscover his scoring boots and contribute his quota of 15+ goals this season we could really aim for the second spot seeing that Chelsea are only 4 points away and not exactly firing on all cylinders while the Mancs are self-imploding from within

Fair play to him, he has performed well in recent games. He has become a lot better at holding the ball up and not losing possession too easily when turning or attempting a dribble. There will always be questions about our need for a number 9 in the side but if the likes of Salah and Coutinho continue to score, that'll take a lot of the pressure away from Firmino.

I mean best as in the most industrious, most hard working, scoring goals, having assists, tracking, tackling, winning the ball back, distributing, supporting defense, starting attacks, giving 100%, being the most influential?
Is this what you mean by best?
???

A racist slur apparently. The referee didn't take action and he was stood right there. If Bobby gets any suspension from this B.S then all our hard work and momentum will have all been a waste of time.

The report clearly says that having consulted a lip reader no racist language was used ,Bobby used the words" Es maluco, filho da puta". If this is the case then Holgate should face a lengthy ban himself for propagating such claims  ???
