I thought he started the game a little slow, but his second half was incredible. They were afraid to go near him because they didn't want to be embarrassed. More of this from him and he'll be back where he was before he got injured.

the Brazilian national team must have some serious quality, they are taking Coutinho to the Copa America but not Firmino (at the moment), now that really is strength in depth

fair dos. last night he was absolutely magnificient, but he's hardly been setting the world on fire recently. i'm sure the brazilian selectors have been keeping an eye on his inconsistent form. i would imagine coutinho will only be a squad player as well unless he plays out of his skin for the last couple of games.

Roberto Firmino has scored 12 goals and made 4 assists in his last 20 games in EPL

Just bit a stats.
Add all that and his work rate. No wonder Klopp starts him often.

Has to start up top for me. His work up top starts us off. Sturridge is a great goalscorer and will score plenty this season but doesn't to the pressing that we need

Coutinho may get all the headlines for his magic, but this lad has been outstanding this season. His effort, work rate, movement, tackling and scoring has made him THE best player at the minute in the prem. I actually had doubts about his commitment and strength, both physically and mentally, but Im happy to say he has proven me wrong and is now the most important player in the squad.

His work rate is phenomenal. In 1 second he is helping us at the back and in another he is right up there is attack. Klopp has got the best out of him.

Sell him. To do that is unacceptable, wrong and could have had disastrous consequences.

I am shocked at peoples outrage at Firmino being accused of drink driving? When did it become a sackable offence to drive under the influence of alcohol? Has he destroyed private or public property? Did he injure someone? Did someone die? Why are people so angry??
???

Ive no problem with him having a bevy or expecting him to live like a monk but no excuse for getting behind the wheel after a few.

Also creates grief for the club who will have to speak with him like any employer and in addition Kloppo will have to answer questions as it will come up at the presser and no doubt before KO today.
