dont know much about this guy. but from what I've heard, would I be right in saying that he is more a replacement for Suarez than he is for Sterling?

Definately appears to be the kind of signing lots of people are excited about.

Well done to the club for getting this over the line, pending medical cough cough  :)

Not seen him play but enough commentary on his ability to suggest the lads a quality footballer.

Fingers crossed its the start of something really exciting for Liverpool fans.

In the right set up this is what the lad can do.

First things first.
1. Pass medical
2. Get work permit
3. Do us proud

Never seen him play... Suddenly interested in the copa America!

Let's hope we have signed ourself a gem!

He is 23, good age, Brazilian so at least will be technically good and he is soon to be a red! Welcome lad.

Delighted with this deal. Great replacement for Sterling and a statement that we will spend big on the right player.

see what a little patience can do? We sign a player like this and suddenly the whole place seems uplifted.

Welcome to Liverpool fella, buy yourself some jumpers and a rain coat.

Someone played a lovely ball through to him for each goal.... who's that going to be at Anfield.  He looks like a Torres more than a Suarez.

I wonder.... how he will fit in with Balotelli? Is this what we've been waiting for to help unleash Super Mario?

We currently don't have players who are capable of getting themselves into that kind of position, other than Sturridge who never plays. Sterling just runs. We do have players who can make that pass like Coutinho, Henderson, and even Can. I think we could throw Milner into that pot as well.

Haven't been this excited about one of our signings since we signed Suarez.

Finally, we sign some proven quality.

Might take him a while to adapt to the premier league, but a great signing nonetheless.

OK, so how about a little fun?
IMO goal no.3 is his best goal out of the 5.
What you think?
