Ings and Solanke were sbdolutley hopeless yesterday, miles off the quality level required, Ings will be sold he blew his last chance yesterday.

I think that was the perfect opportunity for Ings to put himself in the mix and snatch the chance, but I'm afraid he couldn't snatch a bowl off a blind beggar.

If we progress to the semis i think Ings will be given more Epl games so i hope he does perform well because we will need him to.

It is hard to judge Ings because of how long his been off and how little he has played.
But what do you guys think so far?

Personally i don't think he will be here next season. He won't want to play cameo roles and tbf i can't see him being a regular starter.

IMO Origi was a better option off the bench than either Ings or Solanke, I know Solanke is still young but to be fair so was Origi.

He seems like a nice fella who has been to hell and back, but he isnt good enough.
He needs to go somewhere where he will fit in and be at the level where he can influence matches.

All the best Danny. Hadn't had any luck with us. He was flying before he got injured, then it was just one injury after another. By the time he got fit enough, we already had our front 3 in place. He never stood a chance then. Loved his spirit and always running attitude. I'll bet he does well in Southampton, just hope it's not against us

Good move for both parties, he needed to move and we got good money for him. Good luck to him and all the best.

Too bad we couldn't off load other unneeded players like Origi, Mignolet, Markovic etc.

Nice to see how popular Danny Ings remains:   https://www.reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/co ... _the_game/
