Basically, I'm not kissing his ar*e.!!

We are still lacking creativity and more goals from Midfield area.

Milner is imperative to our midfield and the way we play in general. Ideal player for our midfield, considering our playing style. The true captain for me.

Another immense display. Him and Gigi have to be rested for the big games.

Milner is a warrior, strong, experienced and a great role model. A very positive start to the season for him.
Keep it going Milly.

James Milner is no unsung hero or utility man – he is rapidly becoming Liverpool's most important player

A few reports suggest that Milner's contract expires this summer but James Pearce from the Echo has confirmed it runs until the summer of 2020.

There seems to have been a bit of confusion around the length of James Milner’s contract but I’ve checked and it definitely runs until the summer of 2020. That’s why there’s no rush to think about an extension and all parties are relaxed about the situation.

Milner will be 34 by the time his current deal expires. He might fancy a new challenge then in the twilight of his career. I think much will depend on how he performs over the next 12 months. If he keeps playing like he is currently then I’m sure Liverpool will offer him a new deal.

We should just keep him until the deal expires then. Klopp will have found his replacement by then I'm sure.

We will keep him for another season surely. He deserves it and he'd be an excellent back-up player for almost any position.
