He does look a hell of a prospect though mate, as does the Spanish lad Chivrella (sp?) who is another highly rated DM on our books (according to Real Madrid he's the next Xabi Alonso, no pressure there then  :D  ).
Hopefully we'll get see one or both getting the odd game pretty soon. They may not be ready to be regular starters but they can certainly start their development now.

I have not had the pleasure to see him in action personally... But the lads back home who know, think he has all the makings of a right star... So here's hoping

They are not wrong, he does look the real deal but so did the likes of Suso and even Adam Morgan so here's hoping is right mate, it's a long way from the U21's to first team regular but if anyone can do it Jordan can.

The final piece in the jigsaw, the one thing that we were missing, a quality finisher and we now finally have him. Now the interesting part begins, time to climb that table! It will be a hard climb but I think we can do it.

The lad is head and shoulders above our other strikers, and he's not even match fit

He makes the difference - he gives that clinical edge , he provides everything we have been missing

Losing Suarez was bad - losing Sturridge was possibly worse.

Kewell mate have you been taking lessons in stating the bleedin obvious !!

Only joking - great to see him back. Needs wrapping in cotton wool. Where would we be now if he hadn't been injured because of that moron Hodgson? Possibly going to Wembley for the final of the league cup and several places higher in the Premiership.

What a player ,12 minutes into his return from a lengthy lay off through injury he scores a goal of that quality ,his first touch to take him beyond the defender
was world class ....Welcome back Danny  :buttrock

I loved how easy he made it seem, like he wasn't even out for six months but has rather been playing and scoring this whole time. That was no easy chance either. Make no mistake, as good as the likes of Coutinho and Sterling are they would have probably missed that. With Sturridge now back I hope the days of frustration because of missed chances are over.
