This is a depressing result.......... and this season especially has split the fans of this forum. Surely now...all of us have to be on the same page when it comes to Rodgers right ?

Hopefully we give the next manager our every support - Rafa or Klopp (I prefer Rafa....but Klopp isn't bad too). What will pi$$ me is if FSG goes for another youngish manager with no big club experience...

can't argue with that.

I've defended BR most of this season, but I'm lost for words now. He's lost the dressing room and probably sealed his own fate with the last few results.

He should do the right thing and resign.

Thanks for last season BR, but has become evident the job is too big for you. All the best

I understand that Rodgers is not doing a post-match interview.......

After 3 f**king years he chooses this match not to do a interview..... What an awesome manager he is turning out to be ? Hopefully he is managing Newcastle this time tomorrow.

This is our worst defeat in the premier league era and only the second time in over half a century that someone has put 6 past us. If our answer to this is to bring in Milner and Ings we are f**ked.
FSG need to get their @rses into gear and bring some quality players in, not cheap players or bargains, quality players.

From post match press conference...

Rodgers: "The Liverpool supporters deserve an apology. It was embarrassing."
Rodgers: "The supporters have every right to be angry. That first half was awful."
Rodgers: "I take full responsibility as the manager. We have to go away and fix it."
Rodgers: "I still feel I have a lot to offer here."
Rodgers "if the owners want me to go, I will go"

That's fair enough, the ball is in FSG's court now.
Personally I'd give him another season, I think this group of players have stopped playing for him but a lot of them won't be at the club next year (Gerrard, Johnson, Balotelli, Sterling, Lucas, Lambert, Borini etc)
I'd see what he can do with a different group of players.

The people defending Rodgers are the people that are hurting the club without even realising. We are a club use to success that are now accepting mediocrity. Rodgers is a mid table manager that was lucky enough to inherit one of the greatest footballers alive (Suarez). His mentality and his signings reek on a mid table manager. He struck gold last year, but this year he blew his money on garbage. #Rodgersout

Yakka why does he deserve another season, we have just shipped 9 goals in two games, not against the likes of RM or Barca but the giants that are Palace and Stoke, he is turning us into a laughing stock and we can't go through another season like this and most of those players you mentioned weren't even on the pitch. Rodgers needs to go along with the coaching staff and that joke of a committee
