The sad thing is that Mario has a lot of natural talent, he's big, strong, quick and has a great touch for a tall fella, there's hundreds if not thousands of players who would give their eye teeth to be blessed with attributes like that.
No doubt the penny will finally drop when he gets to the wrong side of 30, he'll probably realise then that he has frittered away a potentially great career.

thought he had a really good game last night tbh, set one up and only a top save kept out his freekick, i think Milan playing usual tricks in the media to drive down the price

People like Balo do not see this kind of error in their ways.
The boys got multi-millions banked and can have pretty much anything his mind wishes.
From his perspective... What regret?
---
Deep down 'off record' he probably doesn't even like footie - he just happens to have all the attributes you listed above and was given a choice;
1. Be a poor Italian
2. Be a rich Italian
---
Personally, I'd opt for option 2 all day!

Think Milan are going to try and screw us on the fee and wages. Wouldn't surprise me if they offer 6 million and demanded we cover 50% of his wages for the next few years. I'd bring him back and try and flog him to the USA or China. He'll earn a fortune out there and money seems to be the thing that means the most to him...

Looks like the superstar will be back for pre-season.

Oh god can't we just get rid of this disruptive waste of space? No way on earth is Klopp gonna keep Ballotelli. Hope someone comes up with 10million plus so we can just get him off our books.

When he arrived a lot of you were over the moon at what a "steal" or "bargain" this goose was.
The fact he is on a reported 80,000 a week is just criminal.
Oh how the tables have turned on us
One of our worst signings alongside Borini and Aspas of the last decade.......

He was a panic buy eds, it's already been well debated, lets not pretend it was our key signing to revive the glory days so you can start blaming the owners, Ayres etc.. give us a break. The fact it didn't work out was purely the player's fault.

There were also just as many expressing reservations AND some like yourself just hedging their bets

But
once he signs and puts our shirt on, he is our f**king fruit loop. One of us.
Let's just hope he has matured a bit.
Two things though:
- If he scores against City you just know a hilarious celebration is in order.
- This thread will not doubt have the most posts in it, by the end of this season.
And now you want to have a dig at those who were optimistic over his signing .

I think Klopp will want to have a look at him.
He will know a bit about him through the staff and by reputation but I fancy Klopp will want to see for himself. Potentially there is a big player in there and if anyone can get him firing it will be Jurgen.
He did himself no favours when he arrived for that season, but I also think Rogers did not want him at the club in the first place and he was not treated very well either.
Will he ever be a pressing type of forward who runs his balls off? I doubt it.

he is just so totally not a klopp player. klopp doesn't want robots in the way that van gaal or even benitez might, but you really have to buy into his idea and carry it out on the pitch. witness the bollockings the players get when they don't. there is no way that balotelli is suddenly going to start doing what he's told just because he's told to. gegenpress? the guy couldn't even operate a trouser press.
