Had a look at some Spurs forums earlier and even they were waxing lyrical about him, when opposition fans start praising your performance to the high heavens that's when you know you've had a good game.

absolutely love the way he got stuck into townsend, robbed him of the ball and just tore it up  :nod
all in all im delighted for the spudz fans that we rolled them so easy, even better without suarez in the side as many had been claiming we are now level with them since he left.
even the manure fan's aren't that deluded

Townsend is supposed to be a quick player and Moreno just outpaced him till he gave up, then proceed to score "THAT" gem of a goal...it was reported that he ran over 350 feet leading to the goal. That is some PACE!!!

I could honestly watch this clip all day long !!!

Really like this player, he has the potential to be first choice left back for us and Spain for the next 10+ years

He learnt from his mistake against City and corrected himself against Spurs

12 million for this lad was a steal, a great piece of business, very happy fan here  :bowdown

Can't understand the fuss to be honest. He reminds me of Riise only nowhere near as good defensively, maybe a bit quicker.

Would much rather Enrique play there than him as I think Jose offers far better ball retention and defensive nouse. To be quite honest, of the two full backs we've signed, I think he's by far the least impressive.

in fairness to the lad he did get forward today but no one was picking him out. we should have used his pace and position better to stretch villa rather than try to walk the ball up the pitch giving them time to get 10 men behind the ball.
no one stood out today for us

The fullbacks are doing a decent job, they make the odd error of judgement but thats to be expected from players who are as young as they are. It's the centre of defence where our problems lie.

Quality signing , will only become better . Only a few games in , very young  but class is obvious .

Thought Moreno had another good game last night. He had another great run like the one he had against spurs but messed up the final ball on this occasion.
Infact his crossing needs alot of work.. he swung in alot of balls blind yesterday and missed the target everytime apart from the Hendo header. It's positive for the team that he's getting in these good positions though. Him and Manqullio have shown alot of desire and are fighting hard to keep their positions in the team.

£12m is a snip when you consider that Shaw is a year younger and went for £27m.

Think the lad is very average, absolutely nowhere near as good as Enrique and what the f*ck he was doing overlapping our left winger when we're winning 1-0 for the goal in the 90th minute the other night is beyond a joke.

Pace and enthusiasm do not make you a great player. He's very comparable to Riise who was nothing more than an average full back with the odd goal in him. Another £12,000,000 wasted on a player who doesn't improve the side.

Our first legitimate FB in years. No idea what game you saw or if you even looked at the right player. He will learn to avoid the mental mistakes but his skill set is top.
