Yeah i agree for at least this season. We've got many games to play so im sure he will feature. Studge and Ings are injury prone so really uptop we've just got Origi, Firmino, Solanke and young Woodburn.

25 games and 5 goals in Germany  :no

Wolfsburg have dropped him and he's struggling to get a game. Don't think he's proven anything on loan or shown why he deserves to get a game here.

Well Klopp definitely got that one right then.

Sky Sports News reported that Wolfsburg has turned down the opportunity to make Origi's loan permanent. In short, they don't want him and he'll be sent back to LFC at the end of the season.

To be fair to Origi when he was here at least he did chip in with the odd goal, Solanke and Ings don't look like scoring in a month of Sunday's.

Origi is an odd one when we were playing well in Europa Origi was on fire and kept Sturridge out of the side.
After that he just didn't seem like a showdow of himself.

Out of Origi, Ings and Solanke,  Origi is the best of those three and has scored a few goals when required in the first team. I'm surprised he went out on loan to be honest.

All 3 are not good enough, to be honest.

Not sure what happened with Origi, lots of promise (which is why we signed him) but ultimately didn't deliver.

Having said that, I'd deffo preferred to see him ahead of Solanke or Ings today.

He would have scored at least 8 to 10 goals for us this season had he of been kept. Maybe he wanted more regular football or something but he shouldn't have been let go unless we had something the manager is comfortable with as I don't think he is with either Ings or Solanke as he barely plays them. That's part of the problem also. At this level we need players performing but that is hard to achieve when they only get the rare start and the odd few minutes every month or two.

I'd give Origi another shot and use him this upcoming season. We will have many games to play so he may be a decent option.

He scored seven goals in 36 appearances for wolfsburg last season. Hardly prolific.

Our midfielders such as keita and Fabinho have a similar strike record and will probably do better.

He's got a year left on his contract. Probably best if we sell him while we can still get a fee. He won't get much game time next year.

If we don't sign a cover striker then i would prefer to keep him. But yeah given his just got a year if we don't sell him then he will just go on a free. I didn't know his just got 1 year left.

I agree. He's only a 10 goal a season striker and he's not of the required standard that we need under Jurgen.

Solanke could develop into a decent striker, he's young but needs more game time to make an impact. Maybe that's why Jurgen signed him!?

Ings and Origi have got to be offloaded. Sturridge!?
