Lallana sent off for the U23's after being so incensed by a challenge made on him by George Marsh he felt the need to throttle the lad

Hard to tell from that angle but it looks like Lallana has completely overreacted there, looks like he was trying to choke the lad out MMA style or something. Does that ban carry over into senior football?

Ordinarily No ,just for the U23's mate ,unless the powers that be feel the need to set an example, but I agree he acted in a manner not befitting of a Liverpool player.

Now that's someone thoroughly deserving of a crushed larynx

Lallana was in Rome training with the squad. Radio5 said he was close to making the bench. Hopefully he'll play a part in the next few games

would love him on the bench for the final, give us someone with ability to unlock a game if we find it's 1-1 with 15 mins to go.

He was one of our best players in the 16/17 season and then pretty much missed all of 17/18. Good to see him back on the first day of pre-season. If he stays injury free I'm pretty sure he'll start the first game of the season. One of Klopp's favourites I think.
