Well reports of £150k a week for Lallana and dont feel hes worth it, high wages for us but hes a good not special player.

At 29 maybe we use that weekly cash toward a red hot young player than a plodder like Lallana, again just smacks of lack of ambition or imagination.

He is a club spokesman though, an agent for the owners, and that will have helped him.

He's improved this year but he's nowhere near worth £150k a week. I understand why Klopp likes him, but that kind of money should be spent on players like Coutinho, Hazard, De Bruyne.. not a workhorse.

I'm not sure you could class him as a workhorse. He's technical skills are good, his close ball controls is good and he's a decent passer. The only knock on him is his finishing as he should score more. He does have a great engine but more technical than Hendo.

He needs to get back to the form when he had an end product. He has slipped back into the ways of being pointless again

He's best when played as part of the midfield 3. Makes things happen and provide creativity that we sorely lack in the middle.
I'm starting to like him. He seems to have some joy when playing football like coutinho.

Yup i agree.

Im just hoping the lads use this as a catalyst for the rest of the season. Lets end the season the way we began it.
We will find out against Burnley.

thought Lallana was exceptional against Arsnol. He needs to play that position all the time as he can make openings and create chances for our front players. Firmino, Courtinho, Mane...   all seem to gel really well and more so when Lallana is pulling the strings behind them.

I was all for selling him in the summered, but over he season he has recaptured his Southampton form and become an important Klopp player.

Great to see we're getting him and Coutinho nailed down on long term deals.

I can't remember the last time we had an international break where everybody came back fit. We lost Sturride, Hendo, Can and now Lallana. Not to mention Firmino and Coutinho are always flown around the world to be ready for the weekend, but are either used as a sub or play below par. These international breaks are absolutely killing us.

Lallana is a big loss he is pivotal on our pressing.

I don't feel confident with Wij/Can and hendo as the 3 men in the middle.

F**king hell..huge loss for us. Massive. And couldn't come at a worse time.

Push Coutinho into the middle of the park and play Woodburn out wide?

I would like go see somthing like this.

      Hendo  Wij

Mane    Couts   Firmino

       Origi

Not this.....

          Hendo
     Can         wij

Mane               Couts
          Firmino

Hendo, Can and Wij is way to defensive.
