As long as we replace him with a better quality midfielder, I'm fine with his departure. It's not like he's irreplacable, in fact we could and should find someone better. The only thing I'm disappointed about is that we aren't getting any money for him.

He's a good player but his place is/was under threat next year.. i think we needed a upgrade to challenge for the title so his loss won't impact us as much as he'd hoped it would.

We may well need him if we make it to the final. He can repay us with a MOM performance in Kiev.

Emre is not a world beater. At the same time he is also not a scrub. When on form, he drives the play forward from midfield. I think he has alot more room for growth than Henderson. People forget that he is still only 24. With his beard people probably think that he is 30 or something...

Again...... why do these stories come out just before the big game... jeez someone needs a kick up the @ss.

"Average" is the word you are looking for mate... He only has one gear. He ain't nowhere near stevie G, or Keita class. He is not a "game changing" kind of midfielder, unfortunately.

With a great midfield as well as our attack, we could win the league under Jurgen Klopp... Let's see.

We knew he wasn't signing here so an announcement was always on the cards at some point. He played his last game a while ago so he was already gone imo. Tbh I couldn't give a toss either and agree with the above posters that as long as we improve on him he won't be missed.

At this moment in time he isn't a top player, but I do think he's important for us. He's scored a few important goals in big games for us and I think Klopp can take him up a few notches.

No idea if he will sign a new deal but Tutto sport were reporting the other day that he was "impressed with Liverpool's ambition" over the last few months.

Fingers crossed he is fit enough to make the final. We need some options on the bench.

Think he's a very useful player and adds some much needed physicality to our midfield.

Sounds like he will have a medical with Juve this week and sign with them. Not too fussed what with Keita and Fabiano in to be honest. Although think we should sold Can last summer if he wasn't putting pen to papar on a new contract then.

Bye bye. I'm sure he'll flourish in a league where he has more time on the ball but he obviously thinks he's worth more than he is. Fair play to him but I highly doubt at any point next season I'll find myself saying 'wish we had Can'

Emre was on and off for us and to be honest didn't really flourish. Strong, resilient at times but thats about it.

Fabinho and Keita are waay above his level.
