Overpriced due to his contract situation but hopefully will provide a lot more aerial strength. BR going to be faced with some difficult choices with his CB's

Good signing, best of luck lad. I think we are looking a bit light up top now though but I suppose you cant have everything.

we have been weak as p1$$ in the air at the back ever since sami left for germany, bog standard target men like carlton cole, shane long and jon walters have had us at panic stations so if this lad can sort that out he will be a terrific signing.
welcome to the club lad!

Finally a player to be excited about. I cant say that i have seen him much, but from what i have seen he is exactly what we need. He could be the player that makes us genuine top 4 contenders this season. I'm surprised that PSG was willing to let him go.

I guess this means Skrtel will be sold soon, and Toure is back warming the bench.

there`s only a matter of hours left if napoli are going to come in with a bid during this window, but if yesterdays game does prove to be skrtels last game for us what a way to sign off.

But if he doesn't leave then we are left with a lot of CB's

Only until christmas. I dont think we will have much trouble selling Skrtel.

true, but how many of them are potential starters in a big prem game?
you wouldnt fancy playing wisdom, kelly or ilori against a top striker like rooney or aguero
that leaves agger, toure, sakho and skrtel
not a ridiculous amount, and dont forget toure can play DM and sahko LB

Weren't Napoli in for Sakho as well? I think I read something somewhere.

I cant see the need for so many CB's, especially ones on the bench picking up 70 odd K a week.

I wouldn't mind seeing Ilori going out on loan - also Wisdom
