all joking aside we want to be out the blocks quick this year, ideally we want to be taking 6 points into the united match on september the first, that way if we do have a slip up at the very worst we`ll be just 3 points off the top clubs.
in terms of points our start last season was abysmal, we didnt win a match until the norwich game on the 29th of september (basically october!)
we were favourites going into last seasons opener against west brom but had an absolute nightmare with them scoring a wonder strike, agger getting sent off and skrtel daydreaming in the area, we cant let the same thing happen again against stoke.
imo if we are to have any chance of achieving anything next season i reckon we need to get off to a flyer.
