hhmm.... heard that one before.
maybe this injury isn't as bad as feared, but the one he'll pick up while warming up for a recovery from this one will probably keep him out until his next injury is due. the problem with sturridge recovering from injury is that he tends to injure himself in the process.

Looks like a striker is a priority this January. I actually wouldn't mind Pato if the price is right and look for a more long term solution in the summer...

Any idea how long this injury will be??
If back in festive period im thinking mins here and there. Doubt he will be rushed in.
Tbh i get nervy myself in matches when DS goes in for a tackle or falls on the ground. I think we should make him an iron man suit.

I think he will be back after the next one. Doubt he will get time on Wednesday. JK said after 8-9 full training sessions.
Boy do we need his goals.

Daniel Sturridge will not be available for Liverpool's League Cup semi-final first leg at Stoke after suffering a minor setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury in training.
The striker, 26, has been blighted by injuries, making only 19 appearances last season and six this campaign. "Daniel had some problems and could not make a session and we had to wait a day," said Reds boss Jurgen Klopp.
He has only one fit striker with Divock Origi and Danny Ings also injured. Klopp added: "What Daniel has to do at this moment is hard work to be prepared for the things we make in a football game. He had the last complete pre-season a long time ago. "In pre-season we load our bodies with strength, energy, all we need for the games and then the problems start"
Can we have him cryogenically frozen in between games ,or at least until we have a cure for yellow back and how to strengthen balsa wood bones .
Patience has finally run dry with this fella !

Don't worry, the lemmings will be out in droves trying to protect him saying we should keep at all cost in case he becomes injury free....
