But he didn't say it did he, it was Klopp. Just like it was Klopp beating Chelsea and City away in his first attempt.

FFS you and rest of the miserable snake oil merchant brigade will need to accept some day that you were COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY WRONG on that Pied Piper.

The fact that you refuse to accept it just makes you look like sad and bitter c**ts  :no

You want a DOUBLE STANDARD, where was your level of "support" when the Owl was given the chop. THERE IS YOU F**KING DOUBLE STANDARD you bunch of deluded tw.ats........

Good to see him back, but he was a mile off the pace and didn't look all that fit.

Hopefully match sharpness will return as he plays more and more. God knows we need his goals.

Yup it wil take him little bit of time to get that sharpness back.
Plenty of gamea coming up so im sure we will see hin feature more.
I think JK should give him mins against Southampton and Sion and then start him against Newcastle.

We know hes our best striker and that he is crucial to us either winning a trophy or getting top 4.

Liverpool staff and fans get frustrated with him missing and I think Klopp made it pretty clear he needs to improve his mental strength.

Over the haul I think him playing majority of games will be the difference for us succeeding or ending in failure.

Yep, a fit and on form Daniel Sturridge is one of the best players in the league, a front four of him, Coutinho, Firmino and Lallana has the potential to be something special, what's more I've always thought that Daniel and Coutinho linked up better and were more of a natural partnership than Coutinho and Suarez ever were.
The problem though has been getting Daniel out on the pitch.

I was really hoping we hooked Ibe or Lallana and played him with Benteke. Need to see if those 2 can work together. Will be better for the run, needs to play about 40 minutes against Southampton.

Unconfirmed by the club

Daniel Sturridge could be set for another spell on the sidelines with a hamstring problem picked up on Sunday.

It's gathering pace so I'm guessing the rumours are true. We really need to find a replacement..
