Makes the decision to stick with Borini instead of bringing in Remy look even more ridiculous.
Rodgers needs to stop trying to be ""fair" to players like Mig no let, Skrtel and Borini and just get rid, not good enough, never will be and should be shipped out.

god hes even on here moaning about borini lol. Anyway back on topic did anyone here hear the sturridge interview on talksh-ite today. He basically said he liked mario and said hes misunderstood by the general public and more worrying said hes injuries are most likely down to his genes as his uncles both had many muscle injuries in there careers.

D Sturridge Calf/Shin Injury
no return date Saez De La Torre Groin/Pelvis Injury
6th Dec 14 Sakho Hip/Thigh Injury
4th Nov 14 J Flanagan Knee Injury
21st Dec 14I find it a touch worrying that even Flanno has a return date ,and yet there isn't one for Sturridge

I wouldn't read too much into it. Physio room relies on the club estimated the return date. I often see 'no return date' against injuries. It just means the club haven't confirmed a date yet.

#LFC striker Daniel Sturridge's hopes of a comeback this weekend set to be dashed by new thigh injury. Full story on ECHO site shortly.
It's the same thigh that kept him out earlier this season. Limped out of training session. Scan results expected tomorrow.

Daniel Sturridge: Another injury blow for the Liverpool FC striker
Hopes of making his Reds comeback this weekend look set to be dashed after limping out of a training session
Daniel Sturridge's hopes of making his Liverpool FC comeback this weekend look set to be dashed after he suffered yet another injury setback.
The Reds striker, who hasn’t featured for the Reds since late August, limped out of a training session at Melwood on Monday after complaining of pain in his thigh.
Sturridge was sent for scans and boss Brendan Rodgers is anxiously awaiting the results which are expected on Wednesday.
There are fears that the 25-year-old is facing another significant spell on the sidelines.
The England international only returned to full training last week and was expected to give the struggling Reds a much needed boost by returning to the starting line up in this Sunday’s Premier League clash at Crystal Palace.
Sturridge has missed Liverpool’s last 14 matches and he has been sorely missed with Rodgers’ side, who have suffered three successive defeats in all competitions, slipping into the bottom half of the Premier League table.
Worryingly, it’s the same thigh which Sturridge hurt during an England training session in early September.
That kept him out until mid-October when, just days away from making a comeback, he pulled up in training at Melwood with a calf strain.
Sturridge took a month to recover from that problem and he has now broken down in training once again.
In his absence, Liverpool have struggled for goals. Strikers Mario Balotelli, Rickie Lambert and Fabio Borini don’t have a single league goal between them.
