And then soon after there is another International break.  Yay!!!

Hodgson  showed his true face last week when he let his mask slip in front of the media and watching world  when he littered his press conference with
expletives ,what makes it all the more astounding is after an abysmal World Cup were he received scant criticism he then felt the need to react which such
vehemence when questioned by reporters over England's dearth of shots on target in a fucking friendly .......   Abhorrent ,arrogant man ,with an ego
the size of Sweden ,and more faces than a Swiss clock shop ,its obvious he holds no concerns or has no reservations with running our players into the ground.

Looks like Danny will be back just in time for the upcoming internationals against San Marino and Estonia early next month.

Rodgers should read the riot act to the players not to play internationals until we can afford them to do so again. Hard to account for idiot like Hodgson treating a Ferrari like a Skoda and run our stars to the ground. Time to be selfish now and not let some irresponsible morons screwing up our season

Agree. Think Roy is not the right man for England anyway. Heard from mates that his training methods are quite archaic, similar to methods used in the 70s.  Although the England setup knew about the issues, LFC, and DS explained in detail their concerns, the England setup did not listen. Instead, the talk is that Roy decided that he wanted to see what level of commitment and mettle he had and setup a few tough training sessions, despite the concerns raised by the club and player.

unfortunaely its not up to the club or even the player if they are picked and represent their country,

Just read the story of Franck Ribery trying to retire from France football and Deschamps and Platini refusing to let him retire. Bizarre

I think Rodgers needs to be a bit firmer when it comes to international games, especially with England. Obviously he wants to keep a friendly relationship with the international managers but at the end he just comes off as a pushover. The way I look at it, without our players England will be nothing, so they deserve a better treatment and not be played the full 90 in every possible game and be rested if they say they don't feel fit enough (like it apparently was the case with Sturridge). Brendan shouldn't allow things like these to ruin our season.

#‎LFC‬ are delighted to announce Daniel Sturridge has signed a new long-term contract.

He said: "It feels great. It’s a big, big day in my life to commit to this club and to give the club my best years, which are ahead of me."

I never know why wages are broadcasted. What is it to anyone how much anyone gets paid.

Shocking amount of money, that can't be true. A player of Daniel's ability shouldn't get more than ninety (even that is obscene!)
