Rate him, don't rate him, potential world beater / not good enough ... what ever you're opinion, this is an amazing stat when you look at it

If you base your opinion on facts then you would have to rate him as the facts speak for themselves.
If you dont, then you havent got a clue and shouldnt be offering your opinion because its ridiculous?

To be fair to Danny it is some achievement to out score the other names on that graphic over 50 games.

Long may it continue, this is a crucial season for him , one which would see him being nailed as a top class striker .

Woeful the other day but got out of jail with a goal.

Needs to improve massively or needs replacing.

FFS, how may times has he picked up an injury on international duty? Hope it's not too serious.

Sturridge felt pain in his thigh and went for a scan according to Matt Law in the Telegraph

f*cking internationals! Hopefully he'll just miss the England game and be fit for Villa.

Nice to know our squad is so much stronger. We can now bring on good players to replace injured ones, when have we last said that. No one seems irreplaceable in the team except maybe Moreno  :D

Well I actually think that Sturridge is the only player who, at the moment, we can't afford to lose. Not because he's too good or anything, but because It's too soon to have Balotelli on his own in attack while Lambert isn't exactly a starter material. Not even considering Borini. The likes of Moreno can be replaced by Flanagan or Enrique (both back from injury) who might not be good as him but can still do a pretty good job.
