Couple poor performances in a row for Danny, and he's gonna cost us sooner or later if he doesn't get back on his horse. He's missed a few really good chances, and his decision-making just seems bad as of late.

We can't have any of that if we want to win all of the final 4.

Was he injured or it was a tactical change by BR?

He played a couple of decent passes today, but his decision making has reverted to its usual self. Needs to put the needs of the side before personal glory!

Stu, there was one instance, a minute before the City's equalizer when he had Suarez to the left wide open, instead of just passing it to him and finishing off the game earlier he tried to take on the defender and win a penalty.

I was livid

Both of our strikers didn't have the best of games but to be fair to them they have done most of the heavy lifting during this title campaign. They have been incredibly consistent over a long period of time, it seems like a million years ago since Danny scored that goal against Stoke in our opening game but they have basically been doing the business week in week out ever since.
If we do win the title it's been largely down to their hard work, hopefully the lads have 4 more big performances left in them.

ya i was livid too, the very moment daniel plays for himself instead of the team, means that he is a threat to club, the team and his team mates. n i dont care how many wonder goals he scored this season.
if he dont wake up his bleeding idea he should be drop and sold overseas asap.

Exactly. This is what I meant when I called him selfish some pages back. He's good but over-complicates things. Thankfully it didn't cost us. Hopefully his injury isn't bad either. Can't do without him AND Henderson.

Looks like he will be out for Norwich but may be back for Chelsea
I think hes been distracted with all the interviews and school visits. Hes definitely been poor the last couple of games and it shows in his lack of confidence.
I was sure hed put it right in the City game but the sitter he missed in front of goal showed how his mind wasnt in the right place. Suarez makes as many if not more bad decisions, but he is above criticism at the moment.
Lets hope Studge comes back sharper and more focussed after his lay off

Behave yourself... Suarez makes unbelievabley good decisions most of the time as all world class players do. Daniel Sturridge is nowhere near as good as Suarez! Not even close. Its like comparing vieira with Henderson!

the way he is playing for the past two games, it wont be that bad an idea for him to sit out the norwich game, maybe coming as a late sub against chel will do the team good. maybe that will make him wake up his idea.
