Absolute quality signing. No one can doubt our ever-strengthening squad now. Just a bit more dead-wood to get rid of and we're laughing. Not too worried about a back-up forward as Kuyt showed last term he can occupy that role at ease. The probable signing of Dann will for me complete the picture.
Welcome Jose! :buttrock

Very happy with this signing. If we get a good quality CB too, then I'll be absolutely made up.

made up with this signing, his stats look amazing.

Just need to get cahill or dann in now (id prefer Cahill really but dont mind) and this will have been the best transfer window for a long long time

Well done Kenny and Damien and thanks Mr Henry for getting your hand in your pocket

Great piece of business for £6M and he will add real quality to the team. Welcome Jose.

Actually he has trained with the lads.. So obviously depending on how the game goes I expect him to get a good 20 minutes or so, especially considering it's Sunderland.

he might actually start the game. he has had pre-season games with newcastle so why not.

Thought he was solid but he seemed to play it safe way too much, I wanted him to try to take on some people or something.  Very good defensively though.

Ya he was good.  Could have done more offensively but we didn't really get him involved too much.
