I was hoping Klopp would've given the band to Van Dijk this season. Doesn't look like it is going to happen.

Took us back in time with his performance last night. He was once again a headless chicken who is prone to stupid fouls brought on by desperation to win something. His attitude stunk and his temper tantrums did nothing for our composure.
Embarrassingly inept and should try to forget this asap...

Think Henderson is frustrated with his spell out of the team, which makes it all the more surprising that he signed a new long-term contract because his future will be a squad player.

It's a head scratcher persisting with Hendo. I think he will start more games on the bench this Season.
He can't tackle, defend, has zero creativity or vision. He just does the tippy tappy five yard passes. That's it.
I think our Midfield will be, or should be Keita, Wjnaldum and Milner for most matches.

Wijnaldum and Milner have impressed this season and deserve to start most big games. That third spot atm is between Henderson and Keita. They bring very different things to the side and I think the quality of opposition will probably determine who gets the nod.
If Fabinho starts to impress, Klopp will have to make a decision in the summer because I cant see all the CMs we have staying past this season.

Why not? We'll need the depth beyond this season as well you know. Personally, I'd probably move on Lallana but would definitely sign a replacement.

Plus we have Lallana and Ox to come back from injury. Someone next summer is going to be offloaded.

Makes me wince every time I think about Hendo being captain
Just a few fairly decent Captains among these
Emlyn Hughes
Phil Thompson
Souness
Hansen
Dalglish
Rush
Barnes
Fowler
Hyppia
Gerrard
....
Hendo
Spot the odd one out...

How do you judge someone to be a “poor captain then” ?
This was the same guy who last season captained the team to the CL Final

Yes, and our "captain" was p*ss poor in the CL final as well, if you recall?
He should have been offloaded, not given a new contract and many people agree.

“Many people” eh ? Yet none of the ones that matter agree

Care to elaborate further matey!?
Give me some names..
I won't question our managers judgement until the end of the season. If we are still trophyless again and only finish 2nd-4th in the league etc, then questions will be asked over our manager after three years in Charge and over 250m spent on players.
Rafa won the CL in his first season. Yes?
