Id like to see him at left back as I really like Clyne.  That could easily be ours and Englands full backs for a number of years!

This is a great move.

This lad is potential captain material in the future. Love his attitude and commitment. Very good player too.

A full back who sees defending as his prime objective is a rarity in the modern game but something I'm a fan of.

Congrats to the lad.
I do have one or two concerns about his lack of pace but to be fair he is the type of lad that doesn't take a backward step and those types of players are always handy to have in the squad.

Juergen: "Well done boy! You've done yourself great! A fat new contract eh?"

Flanagan: "errrr... I was expecting a higher pay rise..."

Decent move for Jon in the sense that it gives him the opportunity to play regularly for a premier league club but it leaves us a bit short if Clyne or Moreno gets injured.
Anyway good luck to him.

I had high hope for Flanno. When King kenny gave him his shot he did really well. I think the injury has taken a toll on him. Hope he does well there.

Bit surprised as I thought he was good enough to play a part this season, maybe the injury has set him back quite a bit.

Hes a proper old school player who will put an opponent into the hoardings and enjoys the phyisical battle.

If its anything less than injury then I will be dissapointed as Flanagan is cut from Liverpool cloth.

He's lost a few yards since his injury. Understandable I guess (he's lucky to still be playing) but I doubt we'll see him in a LFC shirt again.

That injury played it's part. This loan would be good for him though and I hope he comes back stronger.
