Didn't know that  :(  It would explain why they only gave him 12 months though.

Time for Flanno to step up against Exeter?  Given our injury crisis, I'd like to see him at right back with Smith on the left and Lucas Toure in the middle.

Flipping liability this kid, never fit for more than 5 minutes, just  cant be  relied on, sell to anyone who will give us a couple million, said no one ever, funny how much of a difference it makes when no one is desperate for you play and your not so important to the team.

His contract ends this summer so he'll go for nothing unless he can prove his place.

If he is fit then it will be hard for klopp not to like him. He was a talented lad and if he hadn't of missed so long with injuries stood a good chance of being in the first team now.
Hope he starts against Exeter.

Forgot about him to be honest. Like the lad, has heaps of passion for our shirt, but isn't he asking for a pay upgrade even though he hasn't played for 18 months?

I like the idea of him at RB, but that is a bit unfair on Connor Randall, who has been on our bench most of the year. Smith and Randall start, put Flanno on the bench.

What's fair got to do with anything? Flanno is a better player then Randall and should be either starting or subbing.

With only 6 months left on his contract i think JK needs to move very swiftly to get him a new contract sorted

Not just the fact that he is a local lad and gives 110% in every performance

Not just the fact that he is extremely versatile and can play right or left back

Get it done please JK   :nod

They let Kelly go mate and I thought he was a great prospect.....  They're probably waiting for Flanno to prove he can stay injury free.

Kloppo seems to really like the lad, i think he will get a new deal, but like you said it all depends on his fitness, the clock is a ticking so fingers crossed Flanno can keep fit

I think the obvious difference is that Flanagan is clearly a better player than Kelly, who looked out of place as a right back and wasn't good enough to get games at centre back.

I think he's getting a new contract if that knee holds out til the end of the season.

He's not an injury prone player in terms of volume of injuries, it's just that he's had one really bad one that 20 years ago might have been the end of a career. Thankfully he's come through it.

He is first team material for either fullback slot when fit. And that's not to mention the passion the kid has for the club having grown up in the area supporting LFC.
